At a time when many pubs have a bit of a similar look to them, The Plough Inn has the character of a traditional pub.  There’s a roaring fire in the cooler months and time-worn oak beams spread across the bar roof.  With its warm ambience and a great range of drinks, it is the type of pub we all love but can’t always find in the modern world of look-alike bars.

And The Plough Inn is about more than just the traditional look.  We have an extensive range of real ales, beers and spirits on offer as well as fine wines.  We have a restaurant that can seat up to 40 people and a spacious beer garden for the warmer nights.  Outside there is even our own car park so you don’t need to worry if the designated driver brings the car.

If you need to use the pub for a special event such as a wedding reception, a birthday party or a christening, we  have private hire available.  You can hire the restaurant or the whole pub, depending on what you need.
